English Translation: 55. O! Mankutimma, Will a blind person see the Sun or the Moon? He can know about them only by the heat or cold that he feels. Similarly, one can know about the eternal truth subtle experiences of his mind.
[Translator's note: Again, stress is laid on the inadequacy
of the senses in the search for the ultimate truth. It is accessible only
through extra sensory experiences in one's mind.]
2. 56.O! Mankutimma, the joy of the stars, the chaos
of this world, the agony of those who are buried below - these are the three
voices that my heart hears. The voices are all telling different things and it
is utter chaos - as if a village market.
